FAQ and Troubleshooting
Privacy and data rights FAQ
- How do I submit a privacy or data-rights request?
After signing in, open Account settings > Privacy and data rights > Data rights centre. Use that centre for access, export, correction, deletion, or other privacy requests that cannot be completed through account self-service. If you cannot sign in, email service@zhiliaogroup.cn. Account closure is handled separately in Account settings.
- What should I include in my request?
State the right you want to exercise and provide account or contact details sufficient to locate the relevant records, together with any necessary context. Do not send passwords, complete payment credentials, API Keys, or other unnecessary sensitive information in a note or email.
- How do you verify identity or authority?
We may compare the request with the signed-in session, account information, or an established contact channel. Where needed, we may request additional information that demonstrates control of the account or authority to act for the person concerned. Do not proactively send identity documents or other highly sensitive material unless we specifically request them through a secure channel.
- How is a request handled?
We record the request, assess its scope and verification result, and check whether legal, tax, payment, security, or dispute obligations require records to be retained. We take the appropriate action for verified requests that can be fulfilled; if a request cannot be fulfilled in full, we explain the limitation or reason. We handle requests within the period required by applicable law. The Data rights centre shows request status and lets you cancel an unprocessed request.
- What can I do myself?
Use Account settings for passwords, profile details, API Keys, and preferences whenever possible. Closing an account is a separate action. A deletion request may not result in immediate deletion of records that must be retained by law or for an active security, payment, or dispute matter.
